Youth Camp for Ages 5-12

Camp Info: 

Campers will participate in activities on and off campus including buses and walking field trips. 

Campers will be asked to bring their own lunch, morning snack and personal items such as sunscreen. An afternoon snack of popsicles, watermelon, etc. will be provided. Ecology Camp
Dates: July 20-24

Join us for Ecology Camp at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Fairhaven: a week of exploration, service, and hands on learning rooted in our shared responsibility to care for the Earth.

Campers will spend time connecting with nature and one another as we explore what it means to live gently and intentionally on our planet. During the week, we’ll visit Round the Bend Farm, where campers will learn about sustainable farming, food systems, and how local agriculture supports both community and environment.

We’ll also head to the shoreline for a meaningful beach clean-up experience, helping protect our coastal ecosystems while learning about the impact of pollution and the importance of environmental stewardship.

Through engaging activities, creative projects, games, and reflection, campers will deepen their understanding of their place in the web of life. Together, we’ll explore questions of responsibility, interdependence, and hope, empowering young people to become thoughtful caretakers of the Earth.
